Good afternoon and welcome to my blog. I hope this isn't just so I can tell all the great things about Jordan here because I think we all know what they are. I used to enjoy all the great things about Jordan, but anymore its almost impossible. I live on a street where there is constant drug dealing all hours of the day and night. Constant screamimg , constant foul language and constant foot and car traffic. The kids can no longer ride their bikes because of the traffic and we know these people are messed up on alcohol and the drugs that are being delt. These folks don't hide it and some of the dealers do not even live in this house. What to do? What can you do? Nothing. That is what we are told all day, everyday. There is nothing that can be done. So welcome to Jordan! Its only going to get worse. The taxes that are paid by homeowners are outrageous when this is what we have to live with. Mothers do not want to have their kids come and play because of what is going on over there. So our family's quality of life is lessened even more every day. The canal trail is awesome, the school system is great. The small community is wonderful, but only if you don't live here. This activity is happening where there is a school, where there are children trying to enjoy their summer, you can't even go the pool, these people are over there doing there business as well. But there is nothing you can do, absolutely nothing! Family and friends stop coming by because of what this village is allowing to go on only on some of our streets. I guess as long as its not happeing on our officials street or next door to them, it doesn't exist. I beg to differ! It exists and I personally have had it!
